Two exciting matches being held in NPL today

Two matches are scheduled in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) today. The first match will see a clash between Chitwan Rhinos and Lumbini Lions, while the second match will feature Karnali Yaks taking on Pokhara Avengers.

KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Two matches are scheduled in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) today. The first match will see a clash between Chitwan Rhinos and Lumbini Lions, while the second match will feature Karnali Yaks taking on Pokhara Avengers.


The first match starts at 9 AM, and the second match will begin at 1 PM at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.


Chitwan Rhinos are in third place on the points table. They have played four matches so far, winning three and losing one, with a total of 6 points. In their first match, Chitwan Rhinos defeated Kathmandu Gorkhas by five wickets, and in the second match, they beat Pokhara Avengers by 87 runs. In the third match, they lost to Karnali Yaks by 6 wickets, but in their fourth match, they triumphed over Sudurpaschim Royals by 33 runs.

Lumbini Lions are at the bottom of the points table, having lost all four of their matches. In their first match, they lost to Biratnagar by two wickets, in the second match they were defeated by Pokhara by 10 wickets, in the third match they lost to Sudurpashchim by 45 runs, and in the fourth match, they were defeated by Janakpur by one run.


Karnali Yaks have had an average performance. They have won two out of four matches and lost two, earning 4 points. Karnali is in fourth place. In their first match, they lost to Janakpur by eight wickets, and in the second match, they were defeated by Kathmandu Gorkhas by three wickets. However, Karnali won their third match against Chitwan by 6 wickets and their fourth match against Biratnagar by 7 runs.


Pokhara Avengers are in fifth place with 2 points. They have won one of their three matches and lost two. In their first match, Pokhara lost to Chitwan by 87 runs, and in the second match, they were defeated by Janakpur by seven wickets. However, in their third match, Pokhara defeated Lumbini Lions by 10 wickets.


By Sunday, 15 matches had been completed. Janakpur Bolts, who started their campaign on November 30, are at the top of the points table, having won all their matches. They have earned 8 points from four matches. Janakpur Bolts defeated Biratnagar Kings by eight wickets in the opening match. In the second match, they won against Karnali Yaks by eight wickets as well. In the third match, they defeated Pokhara Avengers by seven wickets, and in the fourth match, they triumphed over Lumbini Lions by one run.


Sudurpaschim Royals, having played four matches in the NPL, are in second place with three wins and one loss, earning 6 points. They defeated Biratnagar by 90 runs in the first match, Kathmandu Gorkhas by 73 runs in the second match, and Lumbini Lions by 45 runs in the third match. However, in the fourth match, Sudurpaschim Royals lost to Chitwan Rhinos by 33 runs.


Kathmandu Gorkhas are in sixth place with 2 points. In their first match, Kathmandu lost to Chitwan by five wickets. In the second match, they won against Karnali by three wickets, but in the third match, they were defeated by Sudurpashchim by 72 runs.


Biratnagar Kings are in seventh place with 2 points. They have won one match and lost three. In the first match, Biratnagar lost to Janakpur by eight wickets. In the second match, they were defeated by Sudurpashchim by 90 runs. However, in the third match, Biratnagar defeated Lumbini by two wickets. In the fourth match, they lost to Karnali by seven runs.
