TEHRATHUM, Dec 21: Two persons, both females, have died while making TikTok video on the banks of the river.
The deceased have been identified as Rabina Rajbanshi, 23, a nurse at Gaukhuri Secondary School in Menchayem rural municipality-5, and Sushmita Bhattarai, 13, a seventh grader of the same school.

Kamal Sapkota, assistant principal of the school, said they had gone to Khorangwa rivulet on Saturday for celebrating holiday. They slipped and fell while making TikTok on the banks of the river and disappeared.
The bodies were found in the river this afternoon, said Chinimaya Tamang, chief of the District Police Office. The bodies will be handed over to the families of the deceased only on Sunday, he said.
