JHAPA, Nov 17: A person died in a road accident in Jhapa.
Khushbu Khatun, 37, died in the auto-rickshaw accident that occurred near Gairiya Chowk in Gauradaha Municipality-1.
Two die in road accident in Jhapa
The auto-rickshaw (Me 1 H 5754) en route to Gauradaha from Gairiya Chowk collided with the back of a paddy-laden mini truck (Province 1-02-001 Kha 9093).
Auto-rickshaw driver Mohammad Doma, 48, a local of Gauradaha-1 was injured in the accident. He had injuries on his left hand, the police informed.
His wife Khushbu who was seriously injured died while undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital Biratnagar. Informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka. She was onboard the auto-rickshaw when the accident took place.
