Two dead bodies found in Narayani River

RAUTAHAT, Aug 29: Two dead bodies allegedly of the passengers missing after a bus plunged into Trishuli River on Friday, have been recovered some 30 kilometers downstream from the accident spot.

RAUTAHAT, Aug 29: Two dead bodies allegedly of the passengers missing after a bus plunged into Trishuli River on Friday, have been recovered some 30 kilometers downstream from the accident spot.  



DIG Pashupati Upadhyay, Chief of Central Regional Police Office told Republica Online that the dead bodies were found in Narayani River today. He added that investigation was underway to establish identification of the dead bodies.



At least 22 people died and 17 others sustained severe injuries when a night bus veered off the road and plunged into Trishuli River near Kalikhola of Chandibhanjyang VDC-5 along the Narayanghat-Mugling road in Chitwan district at around 4 am on Friday. 



Some passengers are said to be still missing in the river.
