Two children die from unidentified disease

SAPTARI, Oct 27: Two children have died due to an unidentified disease at Kanchanrup municipality of Saptari district. The victims are six-year-old Krishna Jung Katuwal of Kanchanrup municipality-7 and 13-year-old Krishna Sada of Kanchanrupmunicipality-5, a local Raj Kumar Paswan said. 


Katuwal died on October 23 while Sada passed away on October 24, according to their families. Both the boys were suffering from fever, vomiting and headache.

Meanwhile, the municipality has asked for help from the Province no 2 Ministry of Social Development, the District Public Health Office and the Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Control Division, Teku Kathmandu for the required measures to prevent the disease from spreading, Kanchanrup municipality mayor Basanta Mishra said. 


Before this, four people had died in the municipality due to the spread of viral fever two months back.
