KATHMANDU, Jan 11: An unidentified gang of assailants shot at a vehicle carrying two chief district officers (CDOs) of Rolpa and Pyuthan at Dhuggegadhi, Pyuthan district Saturday night, according to Sagarmatha TV.
The CDOs – Keshav Acharya (Rolpa) and Krishna Shyam Budhathoki (Pyuthan) – were returning from Swargadwari, Pyuthan after attending a board meeting of Swargadwari religious site.

The assailants are believed to be robbers. They also robbed people from two other vehicles at the same spot. The exact number of assailants is still unknown.
One of the alleged robbers has been arrested and he is reported to be injured.
