Krishna Kumar Mahato, 36, of Dhangadi VDC-2, and Ram Bilas Mahato, 20, of Phulkahakatti VDC, who were arrested in connection with the murder of Shiva Kumar Sah, 38, of Dhangadi VDC-5, were made public on Thursday. [break]
“Six people seem to have been involved in Sah´s murder,” said police inspector Durga Dahal. “We arrested two of them while one died in a motorcycle accident soon after Sah´s murder. The three others are absconding.
”After almost two weeks of investigation, the District Police Office (DPO) of Siraha has concluded that Sah was not murdered by any armed outfit but by his own acquaintances. According to the police, Sah had gone to the market to buy some vegetables carrying Rs 150,000.
Krishna knew that Sah was in possession of the huge amount. When Krishna told his friends about this, they planned to kill Sah. Sah was found dead near his home early morning on September 14.
