Two APF sub-inspectors suspended for violating code of conduct

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Two sub-inspectors of the Armed Police Force (APF) have been suspended for violating the code of conduct.


APF Sub-Inspector Govinda Subedi working at Armed Police Force Nepal, No 28 Gana, Kapilvastu, and Sun-Inspector Krishna Bahadur Magar working at the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Outpost (BOP) Chhinnamasta, Saptari, have been suspended.

Sub-inspector Subedi did not perform his duties correctly whilst moving APF personnel back to the office after installing an election security base for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and provincial assemblies, as the vehicle met with an accident.


Similarly, Sub-Inspector Magar was also suspended as he acted contrary to the departmental policy and orders. During the initial investigation, he was found to be involved in the case of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Armed Police Force Satya Narayan Yadav, who was found dead in India on October 6.
