KATHMANDU, June 1: Hridayesh Tripathi, a member of the House of Representatives, has accused the ministers of setting up trauma centers in places that are convenient to them.
Taking part in the parliamentary discussion on the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 on Wednesday, Tripathi accused the ministers of constructing all the trauma centers near their respective areas.

"This is an irrational act," Tripathi said, “Congratulations to the ministers!”
He said that the plan to set up trauma centers in the areas and districts favored by the ministers have been mentioned in the budget without studying the accident-affected areas and identifying suitable places to build the trauma centers.
“It should have been built at Bardaghat in Nawalpur. Daunne is the area with the highest number of accidents. Each year, many people meet with accidents here. Ignoring this, the plan was made to build trauma centers in ill-suited places,” Tripathi said.
