TU inks agreement with Barcelona School of Management and Invest for Impact Nepal to run one-year Sustainable Commerce Management program

KIRTIPUR (KATHMANDU), June 12: The Tribhuvan University (TU) is set to start a Post Graduate Diploma in the subject of Sustainable Commerce Management so as to address needs of the country and demands of the market. 

The programme will combine managerial knowledge with global climate change, good governance and sustainable development to develop human resource. 

TU School of Management, Barcelona School of Management and Invest for Impact Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to this effect. 

Acting Director of TU School of Management Dr Govinda Tamang and Investment for Impact Nepal's Bibek Shrestha signed the MoU from their respective institutions. 

As per the agreement, the Barcelona School of Management and Investment for Impact Nepal will provide technical support for the one-year educational programme to be run by TU from February 2025, according to TU management faculty Dean Prof Dr Dilli Raj Sharma. 

He further said the programme will produce human resources capable of running sustainable business with contributions to society, national economy and international level. 

Students who have passed bachelor's level and one year experience in management can apply for this educational programme. According to the TU, the programme will be run by linking it with the needs of industries, businesses and financial institutions to produce human resources according to the demand of the employment market.
