Traffic to be halted on Sisneri-Dakshinkali road from today until Dec 26

Traffic will be halted on the Sisneri-Dakshinkali road, which connects Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu, from today until December 26.

MAKWANPUR, Dec 18: Traffic will be halted on the Sisneri-Dakshinkali road, which connects Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu, from today until December 26.


Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal from the District Police Office, Makwanpur, informed Republica that traffic has been halted on the Sisneri-Dakshinkali road, specifically in the Dakshinkali-Chhaimale section, due to the road being resurfaced. Similarly, traffic has also been restricted on the Kulekhani-Phalakhel-Matatirtha road for road upgrading work.

During the closure of the road, vehicles have been redirected to alternative routes, including the Kanti Highway, Tribhuvan Highway, and Narayanghat-Mugling road, which are currently operational, according to Makwanpur District Police Office.
