KATHMANDU, Oct 20: Tourism entrepreneur Basanta Raj Mishra, 73, passed away on Sunday morning.
He was undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital after being infected with dengue. He passed away while undergoing treatment, according to family sources.

Involved in the tourism industry for over five decades, Mishra was particularly active in the development of wildlife tourism.
Mishra established Venture Travel four decades ago. He also owned several businesses, including the Temple Tiger Green Jungle Resort in Nawalparasi, Venture Travel and apartments in Thamel.
Mishra’s body will be placed at his residence in Kupondole, Lalitpur, for tributes from 10 AM to 1 PM today. Following this, the cremation will take place at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Mishra, who was the executive chairman of Venture Group of Companies, is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
