KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Leaning toward Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli-led faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Sudurpaschim Province Japat Bahadur Bohora resigned on Wednesday. Bohora was elected provincial minister from the erstwhile CPN (Moist Center).
Organizing a press conference on Wednesday, Minister Bohora announced his resignation as the Provincial Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning. Prior to his resignation, Minister Bohora had met PM Oli in Kathmandu.
Following the dissolution of the parliament and the vertical split within NCP, the political row is now apparent in all the provincial governments as well.
