WALING (SYANGJA), Nov 12: Three local governments from Syangja district have provided Rs 1.27 million in assistance for the earthquake-affected communities in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim districts.
Galyang Municipality, Bhirkot Municipality and Phedikhola Rural Municipality have offered in cash to those quake-affected people in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim districts.
Galyang provided Rs 400,000 in assistance, Bhirkot provided Rs 300,000 and Rs 577,355 was provided by Phedikhola.

Mayor of Galyang Guru Prasad Bhattarai said that the people's representatives and officials raised Rs 200,000 and Rs 200,000 from the municipality's disaster management fund to support the quake-hit people.
The amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund managed by the government.
Furthermore, gBhirkot Municipality has raised some fiber quilts and blankets as well to distribute to the quake survivors.
Different organizations and individuals in the district are also raising relief materials and cash to support the quake affected people, it is said.
