Three killed in Bhojpur accident

BHOJPUR, March 24: Three students travelling in a tractor were dead on the spot while three others were injured in Homtang VDC in the southern belt of Bhojpur district, on Sunday.



The deceased have been identified as Narayan Thapa, 15, Nandan Thapa, 17, and Milan Thapa, 12, of Homtang VDC Ward No. 5.[break]



Narayan and Nandan were eighth graders at local Sagarmatha Higher Secondary School whereas Milan was fifth grader in Bhimeshwor Lower Secondary School.



The tractor heading towards Ghoretar from Homtang VDC fell 30 meters off the road in course of avoiding a large boulder on the road, said District Police Office, Bhojpur.



Two among the injured have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, while the other is undergoing treatment in local Health Post.
