Tension flares as firing goes in Rautahat

GAUR, Sept 18: Tension has flared at Gamhariya polling center of Maulapur Municipality in the Rautahat district after cadres of political parties clashed with police over dispute that arose after the party representatives allegedly instructed voters on how to cast votes.

GAUR, Sept 18: Tension has flared at Gamhariya polling center of Maulapur Municipality in the Rautahat district after cadres of political parties clashed with police over dispute that arose after the party representatives allegedly instructed voters on how to cast votes.

Following the dispute police fired shots in the air to take the situation under control. 


The voting resumed shortly after the issue was settled in a meeting held with the party representatives.
