Technical works affected at Transport Management Office

BAGLUNG, June 7: Service recipients have been facing problems in lack of technical staff at Transport Management Office, Dhaulagiri, Baglung.


Different services providing by the office including driving license, trial test, and registration of new vehicles have been affected after the transfer of technical staff Basanta Shrestha.

Bir Bahadur Karki of Galkot municipality-1 said that he has been visiting the office for the past two weeks for a trial test and registration of his newly purchased motorcycle, but has been compelled to return empty-handed in lack of technical staff there.


Not only Karki, but more than 200 service recipients visiting the office every day have also been facing the same problem. The Transport Management Office, Dhaulagiri, Baglung, looks after the activities related to it of four districts-- Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi and Mustang.


Around 600 people, who have passed the written examination for driving license, are in problems as the trail test has not been conducted for the past week weeks. Information Officer at the Office, Dev Bahadur Thapa Saru said, "We don’t know the technical work. Technical staff is needed for these works. All the technical works providing by the office will be stopped until the technical staff arrives."
