A total of 15 % infrastructures were devastated by April 25 earthquake while 80 % of the infrastructures were damaged by the May 12 aftershock in the village.
Bishu Bhakta Shrestha, one of the quake victims in the village and the principal of Tripura Sundari Higher Secondary School told that they are grateful to NA as they helped them by providing treatment and the medicine to the wounded locals.
Shrestha further said that villagers have taken the NA as god for their role of savior aftermath of the recent earthquake and its aftershocks.

Under the command of Captain Nirmal Bahadur Shah, at team of 50 NA personnel from Yuddha Kawaj Battalion was deployed in the VDC for rescue operations, relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Captain Shah, however, says that it's their obligation to help people during such a critical situation.
"We usually assist to the people of other countries during our UN Missions and it's our pleasure to support to our own people," Shah added.
Tauthali VDC, which lies at the border point of Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha district, was devastated by April 25 earthquake and the May 12 aftershock.
As of now, NA has been providing medical treatment for more than two thousand locals. During May 12 jolt, NA had been conducting rescue operations, relief and rehabilitation work in the VDC. Due to their presence in the VDC, NA saved lives of five locals by ferrying them immediately to Kathmandu-based hospital via an Army helicopter.
Besides this, NA also conducted counseling sessions to the quake-shocked affected local children in the classrooms as well as organizing games. They also played role of educating people and children on how to be prepare for safety during upcoming monsoon.
Meanwhile, NA has also conducted a drive to demolish the damaged houses and cleaning rubbles of the damage roads and houses in village along with coordinating the relief distributing efforts in the village provided by different organizations.
