KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Tanzania is batting in the first match against Nepal under the women's four-nation T20 Series underway in Hong Kong.
The match is held in the Hong Kong Cricket Club. Tanzania won the toss and batted first. As of now, it made 69 runs at the loss of three wickets in 14 overs. For Nepal, Sangita Rai took two wickets, and Rubina Chhetri one. This is the first time Tanzania and Nepal are facing each other. Tanzania is ranked 19th and Nepal 21st in the ICC rankings.

The four participating countries are hosts Hong Kong, Nepal, Tanzania and Japan. The Nepali cricket squad for the match are captain Indu Barma and other players, Bindu Rawal, Rubina Chhetri, Sita Ranamagar, Asmina Karmacharya, Kajol Shrestha, Kanchan Shrestha, Khusi Dangol, Sangita Rai, Soni Pakhrin, Somu Bista, Puja Mahato Roma Thapa and Samjhana Khadka. Coach for the national women cricket team is Manoj Katuwal.
Nepal will play its second match against Hong Kong on November 16, and the final game of the group stage against Japan on November 18.
