The meeting was attended by the PABSON, N-PABSON and chief of education section at Byas Municipality. Assistant CDO Baral further said that schools are not allowed to run physical classes until a new decision is made by COVID-19 crisis management committee. "Administration has not allowed opening schools. So, they will remain closed," he added.
Similarly, Education Section Chief at Byas Municipality, Nagendra Prasad Regmi, expressed surprise over the decision of schools to run physical classes even as the threat of the COVID-19 is only growing. Although the lockdown is in place till Wednesday, some schools were found running physical classes. It is alarming that with the relaxed lockdown the coronavirus cases are rising in the district, thereby posing a serious threat to human health.
