Talks with Kirant Janabadi Workers Party on Sunday

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Kirant Janabadi Workers Party, an armed group active in eastern hilly regions, has agreed to sit for talks with the government. The group has formed a five-member panel headed by Ananta Kranti to hold dialogue with the government, state-run Radio Nepal said. The talks will take place on Sunday, the radio said.
According to the results announced on Thursday, Aryal secured 1,530 votes to win the post. She had also been elected secretary at the 10th general convention.
