The company had opened booking for the bike about one and a half months ago. It had received booking for 28 bikes. Media personality Suraj Singh Thakuri handed over the keys of Honda CBR 250R to the customers amid a function on the day. [break]
In the meantime, the company also opened Honda´s new showroom -- Honda Wing World -- at Teku. According to the company, it is the first exclusive showroom in Nepal that provides international standard Honda services.
Honda CBR 250R has 250 cc cooled engine of low mass that produces massive power of 26.4 bhp and six speed gear box with wet multi clutch plate for fuel efficiency. The bike gives mileage of 27 km per liter.
“Sporty look of the bike has made Honda CBR 250R popular among customers. But it can be used for day-to-day basis because of the safety features it offers and comfort it provides,” said Saurabh Jyoti, managing director of Jyoti Group -- the parent company of Syakar Company.
Honda CBR 250R also features twin spar steel diamond frame, hydraulic fork front suspension and specially treated tires and rims. This is the first bike of its range to have C-ABS (Combined braking system with Anti lock braking system), which is one of the safest braking technology in auto world. Its fuel tank can carry 13 liters of fuel which can give range of more than 350 kilometers.

Honda CBR 250R is available in red, black and gray colors and two variants -- standard and C-ABS. While the standard variant costs Rs 449,900, the C-ABS variant can be taken home for Rs 514,900.
“Its unbeatable style combined with dynamic performance, futuristic features and easy maneuvering as well as reasonable pricing has made Honda CBR 250R an instant favorite amongst its target customers,” said Jyoti.
Honda Brio launching Thursday
Brio, a hatchback from Honda stable, will hit the Nepali roads on Thursday. Syakar Company -- the authorized distributor of Honda for Nepal -- is launching the hatchback in Nepal amid a fuction. Brio will be the cheapest Honda car available in Nepal, said officials of Syakar Company. "The car will cost less than Rs 2.5 million," said Saurabh Jyoti, managing director of Jyoti Group -- the parent company of Syakar Company.

Brio has 1.2 liter petrol engine and five speed manual transmission. The car is expected to maintain a practical mileage of 16 km per liter on city drive.
Though Brio is available in India in four variants, Syakar is launching only the premium model in Nepal.
The car will have all necessary safety and luxury features.
Syakar plans to launch lower variants of Brio if market responds positively to the hatchback.
