Advocate Om Prasad Aryal had moved the apex court demanding an action against Karki, his son-in-law Prabal Thapa and others for obstructing the process of serving the court’s notice.
Yesterday, former Law Secretary Pramod Karki had reached SC with a written clarification for Karki. The suspended CIAA Chief reached the court in person with the clarification a day later.
Karki, in the clarification has claimed that he had no intention for the contempt of court. Karki has argued that he was out of Nepal while the court was serving the notice on him and was unaware who obstructed the judicial process.
In contrary to his claim, repeated attempts to serve the court’s notice were foiled by Karki’s relatives among others.
