ROLPA, Nov 23: UML's Surya Thapa is leading the vote count for a seat in the House of Representatives (HoR) in Pyuthan. Rastriya Janamorcha’s Durga Poudel, who is a common candidate of the ruling alliance, is trailing behind Thapa by around 4,000 votes.
UML's Thapa has obtained 27,989 votes while Poudel has secured 23,923 votes.

Meanwhile, UML's Tulsiram Sharma is ahead with 11,715 votes in provincial assembly-1, while Krishna Kumar Adhikari of Maoist is trailing behind with 10,155 votes. Hari Prasad Rijal of UML is ahead with 11,676 votes in provincial assembly-2, while Saroj Thapa of Nepali Congress is hot on the heels with 10,753 votes.
