Sur-Sudha's album launched

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Sur-Sudha’s new album “The Tunes of Nepal” was released by President Dr Ram Baran Yadav in Kathmandu on December 19. The President released the new album in a program organized at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Shital Niwas, in which Sur-Sudha played some of their new tunes.[break]

 

During the ceremony, the US Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Scott H. DeliSi and his wife, the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Tatsuo Mizuno and his wife, the Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Dr Suresh Raj Sharma, high level diplomats and dignitaries were present.



The US Ambassador said that music has no boundary and stressed that the translation is also not required in music stating that he is already a great fan of Sur-Sudha. The Japanese Ambassador thanked the band for the good performance and said that food and music are a part of the culture.







The event was organized by Community and Culture Promotion Organization (CACPO-Nepal) and Dr. Bhim Prasad Shrestha.
