Support to late Bomjan family

KATHMANDU, June 19: Former sports journalists of Nepal who are currently residing in USA and Canada provided financial support to the family of late sports journalist Suman Bhomjan who died during April 25 earthquake.

Sharad Prakash Dhital, Bishnu Hari Ghimire and Bibek Dhakala, currently residing in USA, and Bal Mukund Nepal, currently in Canada, supported gave away Rs 73,377.

They provided the amount to Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF), which has established fund to support Bhomjan family. Meanwhile, RJ Sports and GoalNepal.com gave Rs 10,000 each. NSJF has collected Rs 754,394 so far and will hand over the amount to Bhomjan's family on Saturday.
