KATHMANDU, Dec 15: A consortium of banks led by Sunrise Bank Ltd have agreed to finance Langtang Khola Hydropower Project.
The consortium will lend Rs 1.60 billion in the project having capacity of 10 MW.
Other banks in the consortium are Sidhhartha Bank Ltd, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd and Janata Bank Nepal Ltd.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 2.17 billion. The project, which is being developed by Multi Energy Pvt Ltd, is located in Syaphrubeshi VDC of Rasuwa.
