Summer heat bears down on people's health in Kailali

KAILALI, May 9: The rising temperatures in the second week of May have resulted in a high number of patients visiting the Seti Zonal Hospital in Kailali.



The scorching heat of the midsummer has stoked the number of patients suffering from viral fever and other diseases.



Seti Zonal Hospital Emergency Ward In charge, Krishna Bohara, said the consumption of contaminated water compounded by increasing scale of pollution and dust has resulted in people suffering from diarrhea, high fever and jaundice.



Bohara added that around hundred patients visit the hospital on a daily basis seeking treatment for such heat related diseases. RSS
