Employers from different professions working in schools have shut schools in Surkhet since Sunday making various demands. District Education Office, Surkhet said much effect hasn´t been seen outside the Valley. According to the office, around 50,000 students are affected by the strike. District Education Officer Bhakta Bahadur Dhakal said that they are working to address the demands of the protestors and also requesting them to take back the strike.
