PM Dahal was emerging from Tribhuwan University (TU) premises after attending a meeting of the TU Council.
"Our friends hurled stones at the prime minister´s motorcade as they are angry about wrong policies of the government and the TU," Chairperson of ANNFSU, Ram Kumari Jhankri, told myrepublica.com.
No damage has been reported. When contacted, both Home Ministry and police said they do not have information about the incident.
