Stationery materials distributed

GULMI, Oct 1: As many as 150 children from the marginalized communities as Bote Majhi and Kumal at Balithum in Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality-1 in Gulmi district received stationery materials as a Dashain gift from their local leader. 


Nepali Congress's central committee member Chandra Bhandari offered the children uniforms, pens, note books along with Dashain's Tika and Dakshina on Saturday. 

Youth leader Bhandari, who is also a parliamentarian from Gumli constituency no 2, has been providing cash and in-kind support to the students of Majhi Primary School on different occasions, shared Majhi School's Teachers Parents Association Chairperson, Hok Bahadur Majhi.

Shedding light on charitable works undertaken by him, Bhandari shared that he has been contributing to the best of his ability to the poor and needy people in his locality from the remuneration and facilities he receives from the State. 


The youth leader had recently made an announcement to construct 300 houses for the marginalized Bote, Majhi and Dalit settlements in different parts of Gulmi.(RSS)
