Standing cricket team on tour to Ranchi

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Wheelchair Cricket Association of Nepal hosted a farewell program in Kathmandu on Sunday for Nepali Standing Cricket Team that is set to participate in CCL Cup T20 Series in Ranchi, India.

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Wheelchair Cricket Association of Nepal hosted a farewell program in Kathmandu on Sunday for Nepali Standing Cricket Team that is set to participate in CCL Cup T20 Series in Ranchi, India. The tournament will start on Wednesday and end on Friday. The T20 series is set to be hosted by Jharkhand Disabled Cricket Association and local committee for uplifting disabled sports. The Nepali team comprising 20 members includes 14 players and six officials. Ram Prasad Kharel will lead the team under Prakash Bista’s coaching. Ram Bahadur Adhikari is named vice-captain. Similarly, the other members of the squad are Suman Baral, Hem Bahadur Gurung, Lallan Kumar Chaurasiya, Manoj Thapa, Ram Kunwar, Dambar Magar, Pradip Rijal, Syambo Bhote, Som Bahadur Sunuwar, Dan Bahadur Thing, Laxmi Prasad Adhikari, and Sonam Sherpa. The standing cricket team includes disabled sportspersons who do not use wheelchair.
