INARUWA, March 13: Four local youths who sustained bullet injury in the firing of Indian Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) on Nepal-India border in Sunsari last year have voiced their complaint for not getting any compensation.
The Indian border security force had wounded four local youths of Haripur VDC-9 in Nepali territory during unofficial Indian blockade last year. The security force opened fire at youths while they were chasing away smugglers in the time of border seal.

The victims have voiced their complaint for not getting any compensation and treatment expenses even after a year since the incident took place.
Among the injured in the firing incident were Ashok Yadav, Naresh Yadav, Manoj Yadav and Saroj Yadav of Haripur VDC-9.
Meanwhile, the Indian SSB has tightened the screw on security along the Nepal-India border in the Sunsari area. The SSB has prevented Nepali from entering India via all checkpoints except Bhantabari.
The SSB has come with the move in Sunsari citing order from top level after massive public protest of the killing of a Nepali youth, Govinda Gautam, in SSB firing at Punarbas municipality of Kanchanpur. RSS
