KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) sealed a place in the Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 playoffs after beating Mumbai Indians (MI) by ten wickets in a match played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
With a fine all-round bowling display, SRH was able to restrict MI to 149 runs in the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
DC and RCB made it to the playoffs of IPL 2020
Wriddhiman Saha and David Warner gave SRH a good opening partnership and remained unbeaten to join MI, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the playoffs.
Warner also completed his 500 runs in the season.
Earlier, winning the toss, MI had elected to bowl first. None of the MI’s batsmen was able to hold their ground and hit boundaries except for Pollard. Pollard, who completed 3000 IPL runs, slammed 41 off 25 balls to guide MI to 149.
Mumbai Indians will now be playing with Delhi Capitals on 5th Nov and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 6th Nov.
