Speaker urges Dahal for agreement

KATHMANDU, June 8: Speaker Subas Nemwang urged Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal for the implementation of the May 28’s three-point agreement and ending of the political deadlock for the budget session in the legislative parliament.



During his visit to Dahal’s residence on Tuesday afternoon, Nemwang told media that he expressed the difficulties in scheduling the budget session.[break]



“He seemed confident that the agreement would be implemented,” Nemwang told reporters after the meeting. “I had also expressed similar concerns with the Prime Minister and other leaders.”



Although the government is preparing to present the policies, plans and programs on June 16 and budget on July 9, the parliament session has not been scheduled yet.
