Spanish soccer club to assist West Kathmandu Football Club

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: The Spain-based football club Atletico Madrid has agreed to assist in the development of Nepali football.


The Spanish football club is to financially assist the West Kathmandu Football Club based in Chandragiri municipality through the BB Trust headed by Non Resident Nepali Association president Bhaban Bhatta.

Atletico Madrid's international expansion and academy manager Fernando Lobete and NRNA president and Trust chair Bhatta recently signed on a Memorandum of Understanding to this regard. Bhatta believed that the agreement would help further promote the Nepalese football.


The Club has got assurances of the further expansion of assistance in the days ahead. The Atletico Mardid allocates one percent of its budget for such kind of support and assistance. RSS
