LAHAN, June 20: A youth seriously injured in a beating by his father died in course of treatment Sunday night.
Sanjeet Ram, 22, of Lahan Municipality – 20, who was thrashed by his father Bechan Ram, died while undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, said Inspector Kabir Pradhan of Area Police Office, Lahan.
The father, who was in an inebriated state, beat up Sanjeet and his elder brother Ranjeet on June 5.
Ranjeet is continuing to receive treatment at the same hospital. The police have arrested the father and initiated legal action, Inspector Pradhan said. RSS
