KALINCHOWK, Jan 9: A large number of domestic and international tourists have thronged Kalinchowk, a pristine destination in the district of Dolakha, for sightseeing and enjoying the snow. Kalinchowk is also a popular destination from the religious viewpoint as devotees pay homage to the Kalinchowk Bhagawati.
In the recent past, Kalinchowk and its vicinity witnessed the first snowfall of the season that resulted in a huge number of tourists' arrival. As a result of the visitors' influx, the hotels in Kuri bazaar have enjoyed full occupancy.
Snowfall affects life in Dolakha
Hotelier Ram Tamang said tourist arrival has increased significantly after this season's snowfall compared to the past.
He said the hoteliers in Kuri bazaar are struggling to accommodate the guests thanks to a huge number of visitors. On weekends, the area witnesses a sudden rise in the number of visitors.
The eye-catching beauties of Gaurishankar, Dorjee Lakpa, Rolwaling, Jugal, Langtang and other peaks seen from Kalinchowk are spellbinding for the tourists.
