Snowfall likely in high hills and mountainous region

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: There has been a partial change in the weather even today due to the partial effect of the westerly wind.

Most of the districts of Terai are foggy this morning. There is a partial change in the hilly areas, while the weather is generally clear in the remaining areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon.

According to the MFD, there is a possibility of snowfall in hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali at night.

It is predicted that there will be snowfall in a few places in the highlands and mountainous regions on Monday and Tuesday. There is no chance of rain during this period.
