According to the Exam Controller Khaga Raj Baral, the office is making final preparations to publish the results within the third week of this month.
“If everything goes as planned, we will be able to publish the SLC results within two weeks,” said Baral, adding, “Answer sheets from two exam centers are yet to be received, whereas others are already in the processing phase.” [break]
Of the total 5, 47,165 students, 4, 30,097 regular and 1, 17,068 exempted students appeared in the exam held from March 13 to 24. The OCE had set up 1,786 exam centers across the country, which were supervised by the same number of superintendents and 2,655 assistant superintendents. Similarly, 21,890 invigilators, 7,297 peons and 19,860 security personnel were mobilized for conducting the exams successfully.
Under pressure to avoid errors in SLC exam question papers since last few years, the OCE for the first time introduced audio notice boards to amend such errors in the course of examinations this year. The office had set up a team of experts at its central office to check the question papers for errors as soon as the exams started at all 1,786 exam centers across the country.
Similarly, the students who are not satisfied with their results can also apply for re-totaling and also see their answer sheets within 35 days of publication of the results.
