Printing of SLC question papers is not taking place at home, said Managing Director of JEMC Birendra Kumar Das.
Following the Education Ministry’s decision to allow JEMC to print question papers of SLC exam starting from March 25-April 2 we have prepared human resources accordingly, but at the end printing will be done in India, he said.
“Sixty employees were specially trained and necessary preparation for maintaining secrecy was complete. But our investment is going to waste now,” he said.
JEMC officials have smelt rat over the move to print question papers in India spending more money despite the possibility of economical printing at home.
According to the exam control office, SLC questions were sent to India in Nov. for printing. Around 425,000 students are sitting for this year’s SLC exam.
