Six pairs held in Pokhara hotel raid

POKHARA, Feb 15: Police raided a hotel in Pokhara and arrested six couples and the hotel manager on charge of being involved in immoral activities on Friday.



According to Ravindra Poudel, spokesperson for Kaski Police, they raided the Lakeside-based Hotel Sitara, took six pairs under control after finding them in a compromising position. Police also nabbed the hotel manager Dipak Neupane.



He added that preparations are being made to file a public offense case against them. Recently,  Kaski police have launched special operation here in an attempt to control increasing sex trade and prostitution, hooliganism, theft and gambling. Meanwhile, police have held a couple following a raid on Mustang Khaja Ghar for being involved in immoral activities.
