According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Yadav received the letters of credence from Ambassador of Australia Mr. Glenn Daran White, Ambassador of Spain Mr. Gustavo De Aristegui, Ambassador of Fiji Mr. Yogesh J. Karan, Ambassador of Italy Mr. Daniele Mancini, Ambassador of Morocco Mr. Larbi Reffouh and Ambassador of the Netherlands Mr. Alphonsus Hermanus Maria Stoelinga. [break]
Mr. Glenn Darran White is a residential Ambassador while others are based in New Delhi with concurrent accreditation to the Court of Nepal.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Madhav Prasad Ghimire, Chief of Army Staff Gaurav Shamsher JBR, Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Durga Prasad Bhattarai and Secretary at the Office of the President Shital Babu Regmee and other top-level officials were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the ambassadors of Italy, Spain and Morocco called on Chief of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi separately at latter´s office in Singha Durbar today.
During the meetings, relations between Nepal-Italy, Nepal-Spain and Nepal-Morocco and issues of bilateral concerns were discussed, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
During the meeting with Italian Ambassador, honorary consul to Italy Rabi Bhakta Shrestha was also present.
Likewise, at the meeting with Moroccan Ambassador, honorary consul to Morocco Basanta Kumar Chaudhary was also present.
