Shree Airlines adds another aircraft in month span

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Shree Airlines, a private sector airline, has added a new aircraft to its fleet. It has acquired an 80-seat capacity Q400-8 aircraft. With this, the company's flight service now has a total of eight aircrafts.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Shree Airlines, a private sector airline, has added a new aircraft to its fleet. It has acquired an 80-seat capacity Q400-8 aircraft. With this, the company's flight service now has a total of eight aircrafts.


The Shree Airlines had brought in an aircraft only a month ago. The company has added two aircrafts within a month.

The new aircraft landed at Kathmandu Airport on Friday night. Made in Canada, the aircraft arrived in Kathmandu from Austria via India, according to Manager of Shree Airlines Anil Manandhar.


 Previously the company had two DAS Q400 aircraft, two CJ200 (50 seats) and two CRJ 700 (70 seats) aircraft. The company plans to expand its flight destinations with the addition of aircrafts. 


Manandhar said that the flights will be operated to Surkhet and Tumlingtar after obtaining permission from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
