KATHMANDU, June 8: Sexual and gender minorities in Kathmandu took part in the 'Nepal Pride Parade' on Saturday. The parade commenced from Shanti Batika and culminated at Narayan Chaur.

The Pride Parade, a gathering and rally program held during Pride Month, commemorates the Stonewall Rebellion of the 1960s. June is globally recognized as Pride Month, according to the Christian calendar, and various identity groups within the gender and sexual minority community celebrate this month in a special way.
