KATHMANDU, June 30: Seven Star International Travel and Tours, a renowned agency in the Nepali travel trade sector, officially launched www.esevenstar.com, an online travel agency featuring innovative and ultramodern services for the customers. The online travel agency was launched amidst a program at the corporate office of Seven Star International Travels and Tours on Thursday, June 27.


Using its decade-long experience in the field, Seven Star has built a modernized digital platform for air-ticketing services to celebrate 10 years of service excellence of the company. 


The managing director of the company, Shiva Sharma Bastola, said, “We have launched our very own OTA (Online Travel Agency), and it is clear that the future and professionalism of the company will be intrinsically linked with the globalization of the world.”

He further added, “With this launch, we now have access to the global market, and our goal is to reach customers all across the world. We have been successfully able to provide 24-hour services to our customers, and this is another achievement of ours in the travel trade.”


According to the company, through www.esevenstar.com, customers can book airline tickets around the world whenever they want by sitting in the comfort of their homes and they can access 24-hour customer service if necessary. To pay for the tickets purchased online, the options are endless; provided directly from either Nepali or foreign banks. Visa, Mastercard, and various banking wallets like eSewa, and Khalti can be also used to pay for the tickets. 


After the launch of this online ticket portal, small travel agencies are not required to learn how to use the GDS system anymore. Customers have the choice to buy tickets directly from the business to business portal of the website at the same price. 


The company claims to have successfully established itself as a reliable ticketing service provider among the general consumers, providing cheap air fares, and committed customer service for its customers. It has also been awarded by several airlines over the years in different categories, and it recently bagged the award for best travel agency by Cathay Pacific Airways, SriLankan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and Thai Airways. 


The company has also inaugurated an office in Japan, with the aim to provide ticketing services and Japanese visa application services to its customers.
