Scope Nepal distributes relief materials

KATHMANDU, June 7: Scope Nepal, an NGO working in peace, security, environment and social justice, distributed relief materials to the 150 earthquake affected children of Bishwamitra High School in Jyamirkot, Lalitpur on June 5.

The distributed aid materials worth NRS 200,000 included a set of school uniform, school bags, copies, pencils and other stationary items and first aid kit, among others.

Additionally, 25 girls from 8, 9 and 10th grade at menstrual age were provided with sanitary kits to help them maintain their hygiene during their periods.The materials were handed over to the Chairperson of the School Management Committee Kamal Bahadur Thapa and the school head teacher Thakur Prasad Upadhyay.
