Sartorial glamour permeates IEC Designers Runway- 8

IEC College of Art and Fashion organized Designer’s runway-8 at Hyatt Regency, Boudhha on Tuesday evening. Altogether 53 graduating designers hit the runway showcasing their collections under 14 different sequence and themes.

IEC College of Art and Fashion organized Designer’s runway-8 at Hyatt Regency, Boudhha on Tuesday evening. Altogether 53 graduating designers hit the runway showcasing their collections under 14 different sequence and themes.


The fashion event hosted by Sagarika Shrestha and Jai Pradhan was organized in the leadership of Executive Director of IEC College of Art and Fashion, Shailaja Adhikary. A coherent combo of glamour and creativity, the event aimed at providing a platform to young designers to unleash their sartorial creativity and promote the works of emerging designers.

The event opened showcasing a myriad of collections from young graduates of the college. Altogether 53 designers showcased their collections under different themes where renowned Nepali fashion models walked the ramp flaunting designer’s collection. Miss Nepal Asmi Shrestha (2016) and Nikita Chandak (2017) along with the graduates of IEC were the show stoppers for the show.


The fashion show was a part of the university assignment for the graduating students. Serving a unique opportunity for talented fashion designing students, the fashion meet also summoned top Nepali personalities on the ramp. A variety of summer and winter apparels for the upcoming seasons were displayed.


The event was managed by Fem Nepal Pvt. Ltd. with Prashant Tamrakar as the official Fashion Choreographer and Sanam Prajapati behind the entire Make-up.
