Following the confirmation of COVID-19 infection, the hospital is being sanitized after getting it sealed off. “Service delivery has been challenging as most medics came into contact with the patient,” said Dr Ranjit Kumar Jha, chief of the hospital. “We were quite excited to have learnt that except for two staff of the hospital tested negative for this disease on Wednesday, however, it’s a matter of concern after the patient was found infected.”

Earlier, the swab samples of 176 staffers at the hospital tested negative while one nurse and a cleaning staff were found COVID-19 positive.
