Samsung Mobile Expo attracts huge crowd

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Binaya Subedi, a student of Softwarica College, has become the third lucky winner of Samsung Galaxy S Duos at the ongoing Samsung Mobile Expo 2013.



International Marketing Services (IMS)--the sole authorized dealer of Samsung mobile phones for Nepal--has been providing Samsung Galaxy S Duos phone every day as door prize to a lucky winner selected through lucky draw.[break]



Previously, Menuka Thapa and Kumar Basnet have won Samsung Galaxy S Duos as door prizes.



According to Purushottam Basnet, president of the Mobile Traders Association of Nepal (MTAN), around 85,000 visitors have visited the expo till Saturday, the third day of the exhibition.

The exhibitors are offering discounts of up to 60 percent on different products, while mobile phones are being sold for as less as Rs 1,000. Exhibitors are also offering tablets and phablets in the price range of Rs 5,500 to Rs 80,000.



The expo has 62 stalls where companies dealing with mobile sets and accessories, distributors of mobile phones, laptops, tablets and phablets, repair centers, and telephone service providers are showcasing their products and services. The expo will continue till Tuesday.
